ARC Vehicle Lights - Replacement LED 9005 Bulbs with Anti-Flicker Harness - ARC99VR Review

Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're going to be taking a quick look at the replacement LED bulbs and anti-flicker harness for your headlights. So these are going to be a great upgrade for our existing headlight bulbs. They're going to be a very bright light to replace and be a better option than the halogen bulbs. They are going to give you a nice, cool white color as well so it helps promote better visibility. And this kit does come with the anti-flicker harness.

So if your vehicle is one of those that's canvas or PWM equipped, this is going to prevent it from having any kind of flickery or shuttery effect, which can sometimes happen. So let's take a closer look at the bulbs and I'm actually going to hook these up so you can see how bright they are.So this is a plug and play application, pretty easy to get installed. That wiring should just match up directly with your factory wiring in your vehicle. This comes with the two bulbs and then a little extension harness. So sometimes if it's a hard to reach spot, this extension can really be handy.

And then we'll also have our harness for the anti-flicker. This comes with a grommet as well to plug up the housing, if necessary. It all just plugs in together. You do want to be sure that you note which side is which for the positive and negative terminal, they are polarity sensitive. The red wire's going to be positive, black wire's going to be negative.

So you just match that up along the way as you go. Turn this guy on, you can see our light comes on.It's a nice, cool white, as I mentioned. So it's going to give you a really nice visibility at night and help to see things even farther away. It is designed so that it's not going to throw that light into other driver's eyes. You can adjust the angle of it as well to match up with your housing.

So it gets where it needs to be. Turn the light out there, and we can go over some of the specs. They are IP 67 rated, which means that they're going to be impervious to dust, completely weatherproof so no issues with water getting in there. The effective lumen output is 1,995 lumens. That's really the number to pay attention to. It does have a raw lumen output of 3000 lumens. So that's kind of in a perfect world with perfect conditions. It has the potential of having 3000 lumens. So that's why the effective lumens is really the one to pay attention to because it's more of a real world application. The stable lumens are after about 30 minutes. The output, it goes down to 1500 lumens or 1,550 lumens.Still going to be a nice bright light for us. The color temperature is 6,500 kelvin, which again is that cool white color that you saw. The wattage per bulb is going to be 16.5 Watts. The power draw at 13 volts is 1.3 amps per bulb. The operating voltage goes between 7.5 volts and 16 volts. It is covered by a two year limited warranty, and that's pretty much all there is to it for our look at these LED bulbs and harnesses. I hope this video has been helpful in deciding if this is the right kit for you. Again, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Thanks for watching.
