I needed a minimum 7-inch drop for pulling a trailer behind my 2013 Suburban.
This ball mount works great and I couldn't find this size at any of the stores I looked at locally.
good product for my needs on Polaris Ranger 500, excellent service and product choices as usual from etrailer.com and arrived early.
John - 05/15/2020Not much to say, it's a ball mount. Curt makes quality stuff. Etrailer.com makes is easy to choose with a quick tutorial on mounts and sizes. Helped me tremendously because of my Jeep Wrangler Four Door having a 4" lift kit and monster tires. I would purchase from them again and again!
The only thing keeping this from 5 stars is the lack of a ball flange nut indentation on both sides. I used this mount upside down to get my ball out and away from the bumper on my car. I had to use a pipe wrench on the ball flange to hold it while I tightened the nut on the other side. As you can imaging the wrench gouged the ball flange and the ball mount. This would not have happened if the ball mount had an inset for holding the hex flange of the ball. I could have just used a wrench on the nut and not had to hold the ball stationary while doing so. Improve this product please. No one likes gouges on their ball flange or ball mount.
It.s too big for the receiver! It measures 2.030" and won't go in. I'm hoping to be able to grind off enough with my belt sander to make it work. If not it'll end up in the trash.

Gave me the right lift to tow a small utility trailer with my wife's Murano. Received the hitch in just a few days with the appropriate 2" ball. Both products look to be of high quality. Couldn't be happier.
looks like a good product and will fill my needs. Packaging and shipping could be improved. This is a steel unit and not enough shock absorbency was allow for. When package arrived hitch had poked through the side of the box. You need heavier boxes or more stabilizing packing when shipping these heavy products.
Will buy again.
I called the customer service line to ask questions about fitment and confirm I will receive the right products (ball mount, ball, and lock). They were EXCELLENT and if they weren't sure, they did the right research to confirm. Definitely worth buying from them.
1 year later still very happy with the with product. I have had no problems with it. Reminds me, I need to buy a break controller from you guys ASAP.
Was exactly what we needed. I had some initial doubts that it would be too far a drop but the lady I spoke with was spot on. It put our tow dolly in the exact perfect position!!

This product is pretty much straight forward. I received it quickly, and the quality is excellent! The welds are clean and continuous. I needed it as a rise to increase the launch ability, of my boat, without going to far out of level. It will serve me well. Curt products have been great for me.
