Works like it should, using it mainly to pull a fire wood hauling trailer.
I had to modify the bumper slightly to move the hitch back far enough to make the spare tire fit properly as I am using oversize tires on the truck, a Chevy K1500 short bed step side. Would not have had to have modified the bumper on a truck with a full length bed.
I purchased this hitch for my 1998 Chevy Silverado last year. The installation was fairly easy with good instruction. The only problem I had was the nut and bolt package was missing some lock washer, so I had to go to a local hardware for the washers. When I notified etrailer they sent me another nut and bolt package, so I have plenty of spares if ever needed.
Well....product was very good. Took much longer to receive as thought and packaging was messed up when delivered. The bag with the hardware was apparently opened by someone and was missing 4 lock washers and one nut. Other than that I was satisfied. I have ordered several hitches from this company and never had any issues.
Well built hitch. When UPS delivered hitch the box was badly damaged and was missing a side bracket, hardware and directions. Contacted etrailer and they shipped me the parts that I needed. Pretty easy install. They would of got 5 stars but when they delivered the second time, still missing the directions. Easy fix. I went to the website and printed them off the site. Definelety would suggest there product. And yes 37130 fits a 2003 Tundra with no issues.
I got it delivered today and I put it on today took about three hours everything was easy I’m happy with it
everything came in and was fine. instructions, hardware etc. The only problem was I can't even install the item because of the left holes. one side of the hitch has the right hole diameter. But the other side of the hitch has a smaller hole diameter and none of the bolts fit it. I was thinking of just drilling my own holes bigger but I don't know if that will affect the strength of the hitch or make the hitch bolt up unevenly. It would be great if the company sends be another hitch but I doubt it. And I'm definitely not going to pay to ship it back for a return because of a default product.
