No lock is 100-percent effective at preventing theft. Instead, protect your investment by knowing where your vehicle or equipment is at all times. This small GPS tracking device lets you discreetly track the location of your motorcycle, ATV, UTV, RV, trailer, car, boat, golf cart, farm equipment, pallet, cargo box, or basically any other item that it can be mounted on. The GPS battery lasts up to 3 months without needing to be recharged, which makes it possible to track an item that has no power source. When the battery gets low, simply remove the device and connect the attached wiring harness to a power source.
The Linxup online account and mobile app show you a map view of your vehicle or equipment on your smartphone, tablet, or computer. The app will also send you an alert if the vehicle or piece of equipment you're tracking is moving. As a result, you can have peace of mind, knowing that your equipment can be found if it does get stolen. The included tracking service runs on a 4G network for reliable transmission. The Linxup mobile app is compatible with iOS and Android, and it is free to download from iTunes and Google Play.
You can also purchase several Linxup devices to track a fleet of trailers, trucks, rental vehicles, or security vehicles, making it easier to manage your business. You can view multiple devices at the same time so that you always know where people are when you need them. And you can log data to see the amount of time your fleet spends traveling or on job sites. If you have a business fleet, you can track the time spent on each job to make invoicing customers easier.
The Linxup GPS device appears as a drop pin on Google Maps. This position will be accurate within 15' of the actual location of your vehicle or equipment. You can click on the drop pin to see how much battery power the GPS device has left, its current address, and the direction it is moving. The device's location is updated once per day when it is not moving. While in motion, the device will automatically accelerate the updates to every 10 minutes.
Google Maps gives you real-time traffic reports so that you can generate the quickest routes. You'll be able to dispatch the closest vehicle from your fleet to reach your customer faster, and you'll be able to provide an accurate ETA. In the map view, you can also add detailed information and notes about each vehicle or asset, including the serial number, license plate number, or vehicle identification number for quick reference in case you need to report your asset stolen.
You can set up a geofence, or virtual perimeter, around either your asset or a specified location. You decide who will receive the text or email alert if your asset crosses the perimeter, and you determine what type of breach will activate the alert. For example, you can be alerted if your vehicle enters a perimeter, exits a perimeter, or both. When a breach occurs, the date, time, and location of the tracking device will be timestamped and recorded. This information can also be used to clock an employee in and out from a job site.
You can customize the shape of your fence to reach all corners of a specific location, or you can set landmarks and frequently visited locations on your map. Several fences can be set up in different locations and viewed at the same time to manage your business or fleet. Each customer location can be set up as a landmark, which can help you choose the most efficient route for the day. The time spent at each landmark will be logged, which makes invoicing easy.
Get an alert if your vehicle is moving during non-authorized times, or if someone is tampering with the GPS device. Simply set up a time range that is not authorized for movement, such as after business hours or in between scheduled routes. An email or text notification will be sent if the vehicle begins to move during your preset unauthorized time frame. You can also set up notifications to get an alert immediately if someone is tampering with the device.
Each trip generates a report that can be viewed by selecting a date range within the past 24 months. A trip begins when the ignition is turned on and ends when the ignition is turned off. When you select a date range to view a report of trips, a breadcrumb trail will show you each location your vehicle visited during each trip in the selected time frame. On this trail, you will also see a history of alerts including driving speeds, the length of time spent at each stop, total miles for each trip, and whether or not the trip was made during authorized hours. In a report of stops, all stops made by the vehicle will be displayed for the date range that you choose. The start time, stop time, location, and the amount of time spent at each stop are all logged.
You are in charge of all email and text alerts, and you can customize them for different vehicles and groups. All alerts that are available in the web service can be sent by an email, a text, or both. You decide who gets the alert, and you can alter the alert sensitivity for each notification. For example, you can set immediate notifications for time-sensitive alerts, such as device tampering.
Get notifications for routine maintenance that is due on your vehicle. Simply log the type of maintenance and the interval between services, and you will receive an alert when your next service is due. You can view a history of all maintenance and unexpected repairs that have been performed on your vehicle, or on a vehicle from your fleet, by selecting a date range and the vehicle that you wish to review.
The compact case on this GPS device can be wedged under your seat or into a tight spot that is hidden from view. The mounting holes allow you to attach this device onto your vehicle's frame, under your hood, behind the steering column, or onto a secure spot on your equipment.
If you are using this device on a vehicle, boat, trailer, or other asset that runs on a 12- or 24-volt system, then you can easily connect the integrated wiring harness for power. Just mount the device in a place that makes it simple to run the power wire to your vehicle's battery or to your vehicle's ignition. The red and white wires on this device will either connect to the positive post on your battery or to the ignition wire. The black ground wire will then need to be attached to a bare spot on your vehicle's frame that is free from any rust or paint.
If you are installing the Linxup device on a non-powered asset, then you will want to install it with a fully charged battery. Simply click on the drop pin in Google Maps to monitor how much power the battery has left. A fully charged battery will last up to 3 months. To recharge the battery, remove the GPS device and connect the attached wiring harness to a 12- or 24-volt power source. The red and white wires can connect to the positive post on a 12V or 24V battery. The black ground wire will then need to be attached to bare metal that is free from any rust or paint.
Once you install the GPS device, you'll be ready to set up your online service. Each purchase includes step-by-step instructions on how to access the Linxup website, create a login for your account, and complete the activation process. Your 1 year of service will be activated when these steps are completed. When the included 1 year of service is up, you can continue your service with Linxup by choosing a rate plan in the billing section of your online account.

Small case fits in tight areas. Linxup tracking service is not included.Trailer got stolen in October. Alert Text notified me that my trailer might be on the move. IT WAS! tracked it to the first location where they tried to disable thew tracker by cutting the wiring to the tracker and hitting it with something busting the case.
It stopped the real time tracking but the internal battery kept transmitting the location every 24 hours.
Trailer was recovered by police with the major High Dollar items still inside.
Allot was stolen, but the major stuff was recovered.
Linxup replace the tracker at no cost to me.
Highly recommend this product and the Linxup Company
Very poor support from linxup. The trackers do not track cumulative mileage for maintenance as linxuo support had said they would.
this thing just plain works. the app is super easy to use and rock solid. if every piece of tech i bought turned out to be this spot on, life would be much easier.
It’s simple & works. My wife worried that someone would drive off with our little trailer, but it’s traveled around some, & we’ve had zero problems. I’d definitely recommend this item.
Battery Tester and GPS Property Tracker arrived and are just as described. Thanks to etrailer for the great service!
Worked the 1st time I installed it. Same the next day. Nothing since.
This was easy to install and has worked flawlessly for me, very pleased with this purchase.
I gave it a 4 out of 5 simply because it randomly pop fuses, incase you're wondering...all connections are tight. As per the instructions, since my camper doesn't have an ignition switch, the two battery wires were tied together and sent to its own fuse slot while the ground went to the grounding bar. It hides very well under the fridge and has no problem getting a signal. The GPS is very close, it shows my neighbor's address as the location but it does look like I can find it if necessary. My trip to TN showed the route I took and the average speed. Would I re-up the subscription when the year is up? I don't know. App setup was very simple just download the app, scan the QR and enter your activation code. Size wise, stack two average cell phone together and that's about what your working it.
Best peace of mind I have ever had!
Very affordable and great for long-term use, at longest you have a good battery.
