Adding V-Wing Bolster Brackets To Cradle For 22-Ft Bennington Pontoon Boat

Question:

This bracket should work on a cradle lift for pontoon also? I have 3 cross bars so could use 6 of these. The cradle is 10foot what length size of 2inch X 6inch would you recommend? Was thinking 14foot to hang off 2foot each end? I have a 22foot Bennington with a 90 Yamaha 4 stroke. Since you are planning on using the CE Smith V-Wing Bolster Brackets, part # CE26244G for a cradle, using boards that hang off the ends by 2-feet may give you plenty of support for your 22-ft pontoon boat. Adding the support to the middle crossbar will also ensure you have the most support.

These cradles are made of 1/8-inch thick galvanized steel and come with a slotted mounting hole so you can adjust it when installing.

If you need marine-grade carpeting for your bunk boards I recommend part # CE11349. This roll of black carpet is 18-ft long and 18-inches wide.
