Why Would Brakes Lock Up After Wiring and Brake Controller Install on a 2011 Ford E-250
Question:
I just rewired A 11 e-250. It originally did not have a brake booster or trailer light. After I wired it all and put the brake booster in it I hooked it up to the trailer. All lights work. However, I put the can in drive and the brakes on the trailer were engaged. I pressed on the gas and it drug the trailer. What did I do wrong to have the brakes already engaged when not apply the brakes?

It sounds like you installed a 6-way on your 2011 Ford E-250 with a brake controller to tow a trailer that also has a 6-way.
The thing about 6-way wiring is that there is two generally accepted wiring pin outs for them. The only difference between the two is that the brake output circuit and the 12 volt accessory circuit are swapped.
It sounds like your trailer and E-250 are using different wiring. On E-250 you will want to swap the center pin of the connector with the pin in the 9:00 position facing the open end of the connector. This should fix the problem.
