Selecting Axle and Suspension Components to Build a Utility Trailer

Question:

I want to build a utility trailer, approximately 5foot by 8. I dont see the axle / hub / spring / hanger together as a package. Can you put together what I would need to weld on to my own frame? Fenders and 50 degree hitch, too. Shipping to Hawaii is expensive, I know. Can you estimate the cost?

We do offer trailer axles, hub/bearing kits and various suspension components for trailers. We also offer kits that include an axle and hubs, such as the 60-inch Dexter 2200-lb axle with Idler Hubs, part # 20545I-EZ-60-10. We do not offer any all-inclusive trailer building kits since the variety of components needed could have so many different combinations.

At right you will find links to our main product pages for axles (some of which include hubs), hub-and-drum assemblies (for trailer's with drum brakes), brakes, suspension components, couplers, wheels/tires and fenders. Filters in the left margin on each page will allow you to narrow the results based on your design and load requirements. I also included an article with information about trailer suspensions.

You can put the items you want into your cart and enter your zip code to see an estimated shipping cost.
