To replace the ball set of your Diversi-Tech ball mount like the part # DTSTBM6600-2S with the # DTBM28 that you referenced is pretty easy actually. Here's how you would do it.

1.Loosen the hex bolt that holds the ball platform to the ball mount and slide the platform off the mount
2.Run the hex bolt that holds the balls in the ball platform all the way in (be sure to run the bolt in, don't back it out)
3.Slide out the old ball set
4.Reverse the order to install the new ball set
