Question:
planning to buy part RP 26003, the plate for installing a sway bar receiver ball and also ball mount DT 40566. Will the plate fit on this...or will it hit the :curved part of the receiver in front of the ball hole and end up sitting uneven on the ball receiver? If not, what receiver with 4 inch drop can I get that is compatible with the RP 26003 plate?

You shouldn't have any problems using the Reese Sway-Control Bracket # RP26003 with ball mount and ball DT40566. But in order to install the bracket remember that you will have to remove the ball first.
