Location of Connectors to Install Trailer Wiring Harness on 2014 Toyota Highlander

Question:

I purchased T-Connector kit 118449 as recommended for the 2014 model year Highlander. I am unable to locate the vehicle 10 pin tow connector, as specified in the instructions. Have you verified that this harness works with the 2014 model? My vehicle did not come equipped with a tow package.

I have confirmed with Tow Ready that the # 118449 is indeed the correct T-Connector for all models of the 2014 Highlander, regardless of if they were equipped with the tow package.

I've spoken with my contact at Tow Ready, who tells me that on the 2014 Highlander, both the connectors have been moved from the locations shown in the instructions. Both connectors are now located below the rear threshold in the rear cargo area as shown in the provided photo.
