5th Wheel Hitch and Install Kit Compatible with Air Ride Suspension on 2012 Ford F250 Short Bed 4x4
Question:
Is there a recommended fifth wheel hitch recommendation that will not interfere with the installation of an Air Bag suspension kit? My pickup is a short bed Super Duty and I have not yet installed a hitch but when I do I also want to add an air suspension kit for added tow weight stabilization! I have a tow package on this vehicle but it does not have overload springs on the leaf springs! It is an F-250 Superduty 4wheel drive Short bed! What air bag kit along with a built on compressor kit do you recommend for my application?

Firestone offer a Ride-Rite air helper spring option that is compatible with fifth wheel / gooseneck hitch installations, part # F2703. A compressor kit with a standard duty compressor is available as part # F2158 or part # F2097 for a heavy duty compressor.
For a fifth wheel hitch, you'll need the rail/bracket kit, part # RP50026-58. Because your truck has the short bed, you'll need to use a sliding hitch like the Pro Series # PS30121.
