Replacement LED Lights for a 1971 Airstream Land Yacht

Question:

Hi. I have a 1971 airstream land yacht that I am renovating. I would like to convert the exterior tail lights and the porch light to led lights. Are there any options that would sit behind the cap or casing that is there so it holds the vintage look? What is your best recommendation?

Hey Dana, thanks for reaching out!

What size are the caps/casings? I can't find specs on a 1971 Airstream, so I'll need dimensions before I can see if we have anything that might work.

@Dana Thanks! In that case, I recommend checking out the Optronics LED Trailer Light # STL43RB which installs with the Grommet # A45GB and the wiring # A45PB or # A47PB. If you look at the product page for the LED light you'll see that we had another customer install this on a 1966 Airstream and it worked out just fine! Let me know your thoughts!

@JonG Great thank you! if they don't work is a return possible? Also can you send me the link to the reverse lights that are the same?

@Dana If they don't work you can definitely return it since I'm recommending it for you. For a similar style in white is the part # BUL06CB, which uses the same wiring and grommet as what was mentioned above.
