Question:

I am a customer of your store. Now, please, I need help. My current travel trailer cover was destroyed by the weather here in El Paso, TX. I will need to get another more weather resistant cover. My trailer is a 2022, Wolf PUP 14cc. Please keep me posted.

Hey Antonio,

Sorry to hear that your cover didn't hold up, but there is a 2-year warranty through the manufacturer though so I would definitely take advantage of that and get your cover replaced if there's still time. Since we know you're in a harsh UV environment you'll want to switch from the AquaShed, which is designed for wet climates, and go with a cover better equipped to handle your climate. For this I recommend the Adco RV Cover for Travel Trailers up to 18' Long # 290-74839. This polypropylene cover is UV-treated to prevent dry rotting of the cover and fading of the siding of your trailer.

Since you're in a high UV location you should also look into some tire covers to prevent the sidewalls from dry rotting and leading to a blow out or premature replacement, which can cost you more. If you'd like to cover your tires as well just let me know what code you see on the sidewall of the tires and I can look for the correct size.

Kevin...., Antonio here. I really appreciate your help. As you can imaging, the weather in El Paso, TX is not fun. The current cover faded on the top. The wind ripped it later. It was sad..., very sad. Now, Kevin, your recommended cover is much stronger..., correct? Do I have to spray UV protection too? Also, on my first cover, could you send me a copy of the old invoice. I just cannot find my copy. Kevin, thanks for all you help. If you have any other suggestions, please tell me. By-the-way..., I do have tires cover. I hope to hear from you soon. Antonio. @AntonioF The AquaShed is good for wet climates but doesn't have the greatest UV protection, which is why the top of your cover faded. The # 290-74839 is designed for high UV areas so it would be better equipped for the environment than the AquaShed. I'd love to recommend one out etrailer covers so you can get the best of both worlds but we unfortunately don't offer your trailer's size yet. Glad to hear you have tire covers, they make a world of difference. I've emailed you what I can see from your old invoice and we unfortunately do not currently offer any military discounts.
