Replacement Equalizers For A 2022 Grand Design Momentum 21G

Question:

Trying to determine which Equa-Flex model for my 2022 Grand Design Momentum 21g. The width of the equalizer on the trailer is 4 1/2 inches. Thank you.

Hey Jeff,

You're referring to the current equalizers measuring 4-1/2" from center to center of the eyelets, correct? Or are you saying the overall width of the equalizer is 4-1/2"? What is the height from the center of the hanger bolt hole down to the center line of the slipper spring bolt holes?

@JeffW The closest option we have to that spacing would be the Dexter E-Z Flex Suspension Kit # K71-652-00, which has a 5-3/4" eye to eye measurement. If you went with this you'd be splitting about 5/8" on each side which could be manageable but might be too much and cause a bind with the leaf springs and shackle straps. Without having the trailer here to test fit I can't say for certain if other alterations would be needed to make these work. If you want to stick with the same sizing to avoid having to change out other components then Grand Design should be able to send you replacements.
