Vehicle Needed To Tow IdleTime 254 Drawbar Trailer

Question:
Good day, I have an IdleTime 254 drawbar trailer. I am currently thinking about what to tow it with. Do you have a guide what the wheel base of the TV should be to have a stable towing please? With kindest regards Uwe

Hey Uwe,
We unfortunately do not have a guide to picking out the best tow vehicle for a trailer. What you'll need to do is figure out what the GVWR for the trailer is and make sure the tow vehicle has more than enough capacity to haul the trailer safely. I would also look what suspension upgrades are available for the vehicle in case you need to make some adjustments. Some vehicles can have trim packages that prevent certain aftermarket parts from fitting so even though one package might seem like a great deal it can end up burning you in the long run.
From what I can see about this trailer you should be pulling it with a semi so I would just go talk to your local semi dealership to see what they recommend.
