Question:
I have a 1967 Barth camper trailer all original but I can’t find brake back plate With shoe assembly that fits my bar camper The newer ones have different measurements than the old ones on the 1967 Barth Do you have anything that would work on this trailer?

Hello Charles; based on the age of the camper and the fact that your measurements don't line up I'm sure you have an obsolete bolt pattern on the brake flange. You can try adding a new brake flange but with the labor cost to have one installed you're probably better off getting a new trailer axle. If you can find the capacity along with the length of the axle I can see what is available for a replacement.

Hey Charles, were you able to find the axle capacity and length for your Barth camper? Once you have those details, I can help narrow down a replacement that fits. Your update could make it easier for others working on older trailers too.
