How to Pick Out the Correct Replacement Fulton Jack for a Forest River 5th Wheel

Updated 08/05/2024 | Published 07/26/2024

Question:

Hello, we have a Forest River fifth wheel RV with Fulton landing gear jackstands. One of the jack stands has failed. Do you sell replacement jack stands for this application? Thanks for your reply.

We do Glenn. You're going to need to let me know what jack you have if you know it, or the capacity and I'd be happy to let you know what we have.

Thank you Bryce. The jack stand is the lead jack, inside the frame. It is positioned on the street side (driver side) of the trailer. The outer square tube measures 30" long, and the tabs that fit into the brackets are 16 1/2" apart. The driveshaft where the electric motor attaches is 3 3/4" long. It is manufactured by Fulton, but I do not see a model or part number on it. The inner worm drive nut is stripped and will not support the weight of the trailer. Glenn

@GlennN Thanks for that Glen, so I did some deep diving and unfortunately it does not look like we carry any Fulton landing gears. We do have several Fulton trailer jacks and stabilizing jacks, but none of their landing gears. With that being said, I'd recommend just replacing both legs with the Lippert Electric Landing Gear Set # LC333964. These are electric like your current setup, has a 6,000 lb capacity, an overall height of 29 1/2" (so it'll be just a bit shorter than your current legs), and measures 15 1/2" between the mounting brackets, so it won't require too much modifying.
