Troubleshooting a Gooseneck Trailer W/ No Working Turn Signals or Brake Lights

Question:
i am trying to ask questions on the site for advice. can find how to do it. wondering if anyone can tell when we plug in goose neck to truck all work except for right turn singal. did not have power to left turn. cut into left turn behind the truck light. now right turn wont work. nor the brake lights. i am trying to post on your question and answer.

Desserrayjones, the first thing I'd do is check the fuses on your tow vehicle. If nothing is working then you likely have a blown fuse that needs to be replaced.
If your fuse is good and you're still having an issue with the one side, then I'd check your ground next. A weak or bad ground can cause things like this to happen.
The last thing I'd check is your physical connectors. Sometimes when corrosion builds in a connector, it can also cause some weird things to happen to your lights.
