Question:

I have a 2018 reflection 303rls and Im looking at upgrading to the roadmaster comfort ride system. I have a 5200lbs axles and a gvwr of 11995lbs. I see 2 kits one up to 5000lbs axles and a 7000lbs axles kit. What kit would you recommend for me to buy? Thanks james

Hey James,

Since you're over the 5,000lb capacity you would need to go with the Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit w/ Shock Absorbers - Tandem 7K Trailer Axles # RM-2460-2570. The slipper springs are rated for up-to 7,000lbs, meaning that they can be used with lower capacity 5,200 and 6,000lb axles. The shocks are rated for 5,200 - 7,000lbs as well.

The installation is a bit daunting at first because it's a lot of work, but having done it myself numerous times I can say that it's really just time consuming and shouldn't be much of challenge to complete. Preparation is going to be key and you'll want to make sure you have some extra jacks to help move the axles around while getting everything in place.
