Question:
I have an RPT195-80 RPOD trailer 2021. I want to change the suspension, so it rides a bit higher. I also want to add a bike rack on the tongue to hold 2 electric bikes about 60lbs each. What products do you reccomend?

Hi Mark,
To lift the trailer you'll need to first check the suspension to see if yours is underslung or overslung. If your axle sits above the leaf spring (underslung) then you can measure the tube diameter and use an over-under-conversion kit (2-3/8" dimeter axles # K71-384-00 & 3" diameter axles # K71-385-00) to gain height equal to the diameter of the axle tube plus the height of the spring stack.
If you already have an overslung suspension then you'd have to cut off the current hangers and weld on longer ones in order to increase height of the trailer.
There unfortunately are no tongue mounted bike racks with a capacity high enough for 60lb e-bikes so you would need to install an adjustable trailer hitch receiver on the trailer and then use a travel trailer rated bike rack rated for weight of the e-bikes. If you measure the distance between the inside of the frame rails I can find a hitch to fit. For the bike rack I'd like to know a bit more about your bikes to find the best option to secure them.
