Replacement For Dometic Duo-Therm Quick Cool RV Air Conditioner

I am looking for a replacement for my RV air conditioner the model I have now is a Duo-Therm Quick Cool by Dometic Model 59516.331G9 What can I use to replace this model? Thank you very much for your help with this.

Hello Cherry. To replace your Dometic Duo-Therm Quick Cool AC Unit I recommend the Advent Air # ACM150. This is made to be directly compatible with your existing Dometic AC system. You'll just need to remove the cover to your air distribution box so that you can get to the mounting bolts and wiring. Aside from you can basically just swap out the rooftop portion and leave the rest of the AC system as-is. I do suggest that you pick up a Start Capacitor # ACMSCKIT. You also have the option of adding a Heat Strip # ACMHD for those chilly mornings.
