Is It Ok To Use A Transmission Cooler With Smaller Hoses Than The Factory Lines In The Vehicle
Question:
I got a transmission cooler and went to install and found the original on the Ford 500 has half inch fittings and my new one which is going to be in addition is 3/8 if I use couplings to make this work with the two different size hoses will this be a problem?

Hey Chris,
An 1/8" difference between the factory lines and the lines included with the Derale Transmission Cooler # D15902 isn't going to be an issue as long as you properly secure the lines together with the appropriate coupler.
