Which Tekonsha Brake Controller Install Harness Fits 2012 Nissan Frontier
Question:
Hi, I bought a trailer connector from you for my 2012 Nissan Frontier, the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 7-Way Trailer Connector. Someone gave me an older Tekonsha brake controller. It has the same four wires black, red, blue and white as the current models. I dont have the original instructions for the harness. How does this plug into the trailer connector / vehicle? Do I need to get a connector to attach to the controller? Can I use the 3050-P connector, cut the controller plug off one end and splice my controller into it?

Yes, the brake controller install harness part # 3050-P would be the correct part you'd need to install your Tekonsha brake controller in your 2012 Nissan Frontier. The black connector of this should plug right into the back of your controller in place of the harness there but worse case scenario you could cut off the harness and splice it color by color and you'd be fine.
