Underbed Gooseneck Hitch Recommendation For 2012 Ford F-250 Pickup Truck

Will this product work with a 2012 F250 Super Duty?

The hitch I recommend for your 2012 Ford F-250 Super Duty truck is the B&W Turnoverball, part # BWGNRK1111. This will work for you whether the bed in your truck is 6-3/4 ft or 8 ft. This is a 30,000 lb hitch with the installation kit. It includes the 2-5/16 inch ball which can be stored upside down in the bed when not in use, giving you full use of the bed in your truck.

The hitch you referenced, part # 9465, is not a fit for your F-250. The # 9465 is designed to fit GM trucks.

If you have the factory 7-way connector at the back of your truck I also recommend the Hopkins Endurance 90-Degree Wiring Harness with 7-Pole Plug, part # 41157. This plugs into the existing wiring on your truck and gives you a 7-pole plug in the bed of your truck for your gooseneck, while retaining the 7-way plug at the rear of your vehicle. I have attached a link to an installation video for this harness.

If you do not have the 4-way or 7-way plug at the rear of your truck I recommend the Draw-Tite Wiring, part # 18252. This will give you the 4-way plug. I then recommend part # 37185. this will give you the 7-way and 4-way flat connector at the rear of your vehicle.

I have also added a link to the wiring used for the installation, part # 5506. The # 5506 has 2 wires, one for the brake signal and one for the 12V trailer power.

I have attached an installation video of the # 9460-48 being installed on a 2012 Ford F-350. I have also attached a link to an installation video for the wiring as well.
