Question:
2018 K2500 rails in bed stamped CMI but, Curt E16 hitch doesn’t line up to connect to them. Inherited the rails on a used purchase and the E16 hitch was not from the same truck. What’s my remedy without changing out the rails?

Helpful Expert Reply:
The CMI rails in your 2018 Chevy 2500 are made by Curt. These are industry standard rails and will work with any fifth wheel hitch that is made for industry standard fifth wheel rails (Curt, Draw-Tite, Husky, Reese ect...). An E16 hitch like the # C16115 should work just fine with the CMI rails. If your E16 hitch is not lining up we would generally want to look in to that and possible get pictures to see why it is not fitting.
