Towing a vehicle requires a tow bar, base plate kit, wiring for taillights and safety cables. You should start with the base plate kit for the vehicle you will be towing. This is a custom fit bracket kit that attaches to the front of the towed vehicle. The tow bar does not include the base plate kit. You can use your vehicle year, make and model and by selecting Tow Bars on the left hand side of our home page, and then, Find Custom Base Plate Kits, at the top of the Tow Bars page. You will then be able to find the specific kit for your vehicle.
Next you can select a tow bar that will fit the base plates available for your vehicle. The RoadMaster Falcon 2 item # RM-520, is an excellent tow bar that will work with any of the RoadMaster base plate kits.
You can then use a towing combo kit to complete your towing setup. For the RoadMaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar you would use a kit with straight wiring and safety cables to route through the tow bars cable guides, like Towing Combo Kit, item # RM-9241-2. If the tow bar you select does not have cable guides then you would want coiled wiring and safety cables like # RM-643. The kit includes all of the wiring, diodes, safety cables, locks, brackets and a cover for the tow bar when not in use.
