Hi, I have a 2000 Dodge Durango with a factory 7 way plug already. I will be towing a rental trailer and need to know what wiring harness/adapter I will need to get to make it work. Thanks

It sounds like your vehicle has a 7-way connector and the trailer you plan on towing has a 4-way or the rental company you plan on using requires the use of unique adapters for their trailers. All you would need to connect your 2000 Dodge Durango to the wiring of the trailer is the correct adapter.

Sometimes rental trailer companies will use atypical wiring adapters to deter theft. These non-standard adapters are not available from us and would be provided by the rental company.
