How to Remove the 7 and 4-Way on a 2014 GMC Sierra 1500
Question:
How do you remove the new style 7-pin/4-pin combination oval shaped OEM connector on the rear bumper of a 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 to get to the harness? The latest video shows a 2013 model which has the 7-pin only round shaped connector.

To remove the style of connector you have on your 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 you will need to access the back of the connector. You will probably need to lay under the rear bumper of your vehicle to access the back of the connector where you will need to squeeze the two mounting tabs that hold the connector into its bracket. With the tabs squeezed you will be able to push the connector out through the bracket.
Check out the picture I attached to see where the mounting tabs.
Once the connector is removed you will be able to install the Pollak 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Wiring part # PK11893-11932 that you referenced.
