Replacement for 145545 Equa-Flex on 2017 Grand Design Reflection 337RLS

I have a 2017 Grand Design Reflection 337RLS with Equa-flex equalizers on them. Model 145545. Im looking at moving to the Road Armor Equalizer and im wondering if there is a difference in ride and what what length wet bolts to get. Heavy Duty of Course. If there is no significant difference then I guess I can stay. with the Equa-flex and use the replacement kit you have. Here are some dimensions I took. Top hanger bolt hole to bottom bolt: 6 Distance Between Left and right bolt hols center: 7 Looks like the LC53SV aqua-flex is a replacement for the 145545 but has slightly different measurements than I took. Thank you for the help.

The # LC279688 is the direct replacement for your 145545 Equa-Flex. You do not want to use the Road Armor # LC696740 as a replacement. The Road Armor dimensions are quite different and will likely throw off other suspensions components. You also won't really notice a difference in the ride. The best choice for an upgraded equalizer is always the one that matches your current dimensions.

There is a slight difference between the # LC279688 and the older 145545 but it is a non-issue. The 145545 actually measures 7-1/4" across and the replacement is 7-1/2" across. The distance between hanger bolt hole and side bolt hole on the 279688 is 3-3/4" and that same measurement is 3-5/8" on what you have now. This is still the best match for a replacement.

If you want to add wet bolts and replace those shackles (which I would recommend doing) you can use the Lippert Tandem Axle Equa-Flex AP Kit # LC64FR. This comes with 3-1/8" shackles which match what you currently have on your trailer.

From the measurements you provided, the Lippert Road Armor #LC696740 is going to be the better option. You will also need the #LC64FR to complete it. This will include wet bolts and all shackles, but they will be a little shorter at 3 1/8 inches.

Lippert actually has a hardware kit designed for the Lippert Road Armor equalizers with the part #LC52SV which comes with the correct length bolts and shackles.
