Availability of 7-Way Blade to 7-Way Round Adapter

Question:

Hi I just bought a dump truck. It is a 2014 f550 with a pollak trailer plug. My trailer has a 7 round. Looking for the best suggestion to make it work. I use it on a daily basis.

We do have an adapter that will allow you to connect the 7-way blade on your dump truck to your 7-way round on the trailer. You can use the Hopkins Trailer Connector Adapter # 47595. This will convert the 7-way blade on the 2014 F-550 into a 7-way round to use with your trailer.

Since you're using this daily, you may also want to consider swapping out the plug on the trailer instead of using an adapter. This removes the need for an additional part and will allow you to plug in the trailer even if you lost or forgot the adapter. All you need to do is replace the 7-way round with the # PK12706. Unless you have other vehicles with a 7-way round that you connect to the trailer to this is the best solution.
