Question:

Why wont the Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit Item # K71-384-00 work on a slipper spring? Do you make one for a slipper spring suspension?

The Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit # K71-384-00 can be used with slipper springs but you would need to tack weld new spring seats to the axle as opposed to bolting them like you would with double eye leaf springs. The reason behind this is because of the increased movement in a slipper spring suspension setup which could jar the spring seat loose if not welded and cause a lot of different problems. You will also need to construct your own u-bolt plate if the spring is a different width. If it is the same you can use the existing plate.
