Flat Tow Wiring Kit Recommendation for a 2016 Jeep Wrangler Sport

Yes, the Blue Ox Tail Light Wiring Kit # BX8869 will work on your 2016 Jeep Wrangler Sport but I recommend going with the Hopkins Custom Tail Light Wiring Kit # HM56200 instead because it tees in with the connectors for your tail lights instead of having to drill holes into your assemblies and risk breaking something (which isn't uncommon).
If you tee in the Hopkins kit and then cut off the 4-Way connector it gives you the same wiring as the Blue Ox kit but it's a much easier and cleaner-looking installation.
Attached are installation videos of both wiring kits on Jeeps for you to compare and see what I'm talking about.
For a complete flat towing setup you will need a base plate kit, tow bar, safety cables, vehicle tow bar wiring, a supplemental braking system, and possibly a high-low adapter. If you do not have all of these components just let me know and I can make some additional recommendations for you.
