Roof Rack Extender Solution for 2017 Honda Ridgeline Sport
Question:
My Honda Ridgeline already has two cross bars atop the cab for me to strap skis on, etc. But I want to get a 15foot long Hobie Kayak so I need a solution that includes racks in the bed or a bed extender. The 15foot Hobie also weights 150 Lbs. What do you advise?

Best option we have would be a hitch mounted roof rack extender like the Rhino-Rack # RTL002. This installs in a 2 inch hitch and has an adjustable height crossbar so that you could match it to the height of your roof rack crossbars. Your 2017 Honda Ridgeline comes with a factory hitch that is the correct size for this.
