The Diversi-Tech, Rapid Hitch, and B and W adjustable ball mounts are all great products, however for your application I would recommend using a Diversi-Tech adjustable ballmount.

Due to the harsh winters that you are going to encounter in Nebraska I would recommend using an adjustable ballmount that is either stainless steel or aluminum. Many products offer additional coating over traditional steel or chrome plating to help prevent corrosion, but the better option to combat corrosion is to use either aluminum or stainless steel.

Another possible consideration for you, is that the Rapid Hitch line of adjustable ball mounts that we currently offer, are only considered a fit for 2 inch hitch receivers. The Diversi-Tech line has selected ball mounts that fit both 2 and 2-1/2 hitch receivers.

Another advantage that the Diversi-Tech offers over the Rapid Hitch is that all of the adjustable ballmounts that we currently carry provide the option to be used in the drop or rise position. The Rapid Hitch adjustable ballmounts that we currently carry are only specified to be use in the drop position.

Also, depending on the rise or drop that you may be needing, please be aware that the adjustable ball mounts that offer a flipping style of balls can hinder ground clearance. If you think that ground clearance will be an issue the single mount with interchangeable balls is preferred like the # DTALBM6625-3S.

I have provided a link to the adjustable ballmounts mentioned above for your reference, as well as other Diversi-Tech adjustable ballmounts that feature a shanks constructed of aluminum for your reference. Please select the correct receiver shank size, the correct drop or rise, combination of trailer ball sizes, and trailer ball configuration, that will suit your needs. Again, I recommend the stainless steel trailer balls for better corrosion resistance and longevity.

I have also included a helpful article about choosing the correct rise or drop ballmount for your truck and trailer. Please check the capacities of your vehicle and hitch, and choose a corresponding appropriately rated ballmount. It is recommended to not exceed the lowest rated component of your towing system.
