In order to install the Curt Echo Under-Dash Trailer Brake Controller part # C27JR on a 2017 Chevrolet Colorado you'll need the Universal Wiring Adapter for Curt Trailer Brake Controllers part # C51515. There is no plug present under the dash, but the needed wires are already run. You will connect the brake controller wiring with the vehicle wiring already present under the dash.
