Replacement Hub for #42 Spindle on Homemade Trailer
Products Featured in This Question
Question:
I have inherited a small 4x7 home made trailer. It has #42 spindles on it. I am looking for a 5 lug or 4 lug hub to put on these spindles. Is there such a thing? Thank you.

Although we do have hubs that will fit your #42 spindle, nobody makes one with a 5 on 4-1/2 or 4 on 4 bolt pattern. The only option would be to use something like the Easy Grease Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # AKHD-655-6-EZ-K.
This hub and drum assembly has a 6 on 5-1/2 bolt pattern and is designed for 5,200 lb and 6,000 lb axles. If you need brakes as well then you could use the # AKEBRK-6 along with the # BRKH12 mounting hardware. If you only need an idler hub the # AKIHUB-655-6-EZ-K is also available with the same bolt pattern.
