Tow Bar Lighting and Braking Kit for 1999 Jeep Wrangler TJ
Question:
I am interested in towing a 1999 Jeep TJ with an aftermarket front bumper with D ring mounts. I think i would like to add a breaking system and light system full rig what would you suggest. I am thinking to go with a standard Smittybuilt D ring tow bar, but thinking to put my money into the breaking and lights. I will be towing this behind my 2018 Ram 1500 Eco Diesel. with a Lance 650 truck bed camper.

The easiest to install and simplest tow bar lighting solution for your 1999 Jeep Wrangler TJ is the Hopkins kit part # HM56202.
The easiest system to set up and use is the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR, that applies the vehicle brakes in proportion to how much the tow vehicle is braking. This is the safest way to stop and it reduces wear and tear on both vehicles.
