Wiring Harness for the Curt Echo Under-Dash Brake Controller on a 2018 Chevy Silverado

Question:

Why is there a disclaimer listed under the price on your website that states Not confirmed to fit 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500? My vehicle is in fact a 2018 Z71 Silverado. I watched the installation video and pulled the cover over the wiring harness under the dash and found the exact same layout as shown in the video. Just wanna make sure the part fits. I know Ill have to purchase C51451 as well. I prefer this part over the C51180 because Ill be driving on Forest Service roads in Colorado and dont want the C51180 to jiggle out of the trucks plug. Thanks

The Curt Echo Under-Dash Trailer Brake Controller item # C27JR needs the Curt Custom Wiring Adapter for Trailer Brake Controllers item # C51451 to work with your 2018 Chevy Silverado Z71. That is why it is a confirmed fit on the wiring adapter product page and not the brake controller page. This brake controller will work great and have no issues on forest roads and you will have an easy plug and play installation.
