Is your 600 lb tongue weight and 6000 lb tow weight load leveling the best one for my trailer which is 4000 lb empty and 550 lb tongue weight?

For an unloaded tongue weight of 550 the higher rated Curt MV part # C17051 would be better since it has a range of 400-800 lbs which would provide a better ride quality and support for what you have.
