Question:
I’m looking for a cargo rack for extra luggage and such when we go on trips. I’ve looked at the roof cargo boxes but feel the hitch rack would be better. Do you agree? Also wondering what you suggest? Is there a way to open the hatch if we do have the cargo rack on? TIA

I like the hitch mounted cargo carriers a little more because they are a lot easier to get loaded up. You can use the 24x60 etrailer Cargo Carrier # e98874 which features a tilting function that would allow you to open the hatch to your cargo area. You can also fold the carrier up against the rear of your vehicle when not in use so it isn't sticking out behind your vehicle when it doesn't need to be.
You can add the Thinline Trailer Reflectors # RE15RK or the etrailer License Plate and LED Tail Light Mounting Kit # e98943-44LED for added visibility. There is also the Threaded Anti-Rattle Hitch Pin Lock for etrailer Cargo Carriers # e99047 to secure the carrier in your hitch.
If you are needing a hitch, the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76023 is confirmed to fit the 2022 GMC Acadia AT4 model. The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118720 can be added to operate the # e98943-44LED lights or trailer lights.
