Is the Hitch Adapter Sleeve for Thule Apex TH9025XT Constructed of Metal

I read a review elsewhere that said the hitch adapter sleeve used to convert the mount post from 1 1/4inch to 2inch is made of plastic. Is this true?

The Thule # TH9025XT Apex use an aluminum adapter on the 1-1/4 inch square shank that converts them for use in a 2 inch receiver.
I confirmed this by pulling a # TH9025XT off the shelf and inspecting the adapter. I've linked you to a product demonstration video featuring the 4-bike version.
