The Bulldog # BDW15114 winch mounting plate would be the correct winch mount for your 2008 Honda TRX 420 Rancher 4x2. It is indeed compatible with the Superwinch # 1120210 LT2000 you mentioned.
I have linked you to an install video showing the same winch being installed on a 2011 Rancher.
