What measurement do I need to order the OU hitch cover. my hitch opening is 1-1/4 inside opening Do I measure the inside of the hitch, or do I measure the outside of the hitch. My hitch came with the Explorer SUV.

To determine the dimension of your receiver tube, you would measure the inside dimension of the receiver, as shown in the FAQ article I linked to. Since the inside dimension of your receiver measures is 1-1/4 x 1-1/4 inches, you have the OEM Class II receiver.
I am sorry to say that we do not currently offer an Oklahoma Sooners Hitch Cover that would be compatible with a 1-1/4 inch receiver.
If you take a look at our hitch cover selection (see link) you are bound to find a cover that reflects at least one of your interests.
