Question:
2020 chevy 1/2 ton pulling a 24 foot travel trailer. The literature says a dry hitch weight of 645 lbs. Unloaded weight is 5,788 lbs. After adding cargo maybe be 7.000 lbs or so. Would I need the BLU47FR or should I go with something heavier capacity? Video on the heavier one says if hitch is under 800 lbs it would not work correctly. I need some advice.

The Blue Ox TrackPro weight distribution systems do have pretty tight tongue weight ranges compared to other options like the Strait Line part # RP66084 which has a range of 600-1,200 lbs.
Since you'd be pretty close to top of the # BLU47FR range with just your trailer cargo and the cargo's weight behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle also counts as tongue weight I'd go with the higher rated system part # BLU77FR instead.
