Question:
I installed the AT15028-22 this weekend per manufacturers instruction. The AC will come on, and when changing mode to Heat that also functions. However, the heat pump only runs about five minutes, then shuts off and kicks back on after a few minutes. Is it normal for the heat pump to cycle this way? Is it possible to force the heat pump to stay on? Thanks!

Yes, that is normal for Atwood AC units like the Atwood Air Command Rooftop RV Air Conditioner w/ Heat Pump # AT15028-22 as this is how the thermostat works. Basically, the fan is circulating the air from inside the RV and blows it past the thermostat.
