Recommended Brake Controller For 2003 Toyota Tacoma And Rewiring Trailer Brakes For 16 Trailer

Hello, Im looking for trailer brake wiring and connection for my 16-foot trailer. The previous owner cut the trailer wiring at the drums, Also need a compatible brake controller to install on my truck. Could you please send me part numbers for these items. Thanks.

The first thing you will have to do is reconnect your brakes. I recommend the Deka Jacketed 2 Wire, 10 Gauge, Brake Wire - per Foot, part # 10-2-1. You will run two lines of brake wire from the brake magnets to the junction box of your trailer. Once you get your brakes connected, we can deal with the brake controller.
The brake controller I am recommending is the Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller - 1 to 3 Axles - Proportional, part # TK90160. I have included a weblink for trailer wiring connections to help with the installation.
