For a 2012 Ford F-350 that is NOT equipped with the factory fifth wheel tow/prep option, the correct Husky Towing Fifth Wheel Hitch Install Kit would be part # HT31408-686. This installation kit uses existing holes to bolt to the truck frame, but holes to attach the bed rails to the frame brackets will need to be drilled through the truck bed. The rails are considered industry standard, and are compatible with Reese, Draw-Tite, Valley, Husky and Curt fifth wheel hitches. No additional bracketry would be necessary.
If your F-350 is equipped with the factory fifth wheel tow prep package that includes the under bed rails and the pucks installed in the surface of the truck bed, you can either install a Reese Elite Series, # RP30142 for an 18K capacity or # RP30143 for a 25K. Either of these two hitches will install directly into the existing pucks. If you wish to use a hitch that is meant to connect to standard above-the-bed rails, you can use the Underbed Rail Adapter, part # RP30156.
The # HT31405-686 you inquired about will only fit 1999-2004 F-350 models, and would not fit your 2012 F-350.
For wiring, I would recommend the Bargman Fifth Wheel/Gooseneck Wiring Harness, part # 54701-003.
