Both the Curt trailer hitch # 13581 and Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 75555 for the 2009 Mitsubishi Outlander have the same capacities and basically install the same way with very similar designs. The main difference between them is that Curt does recommend the use of stabilization strap # 18050 when using any non-trailer accessory like a bike rack or cargo carrier. Draw-Tite does not have this recommendation or requirement.

For either of these hitches they can handle up to 5 bikes. If you can tell me how many bikes you wish to carry I will be happy to make some recommendations.

To install either trailer hitch you would need basic hand tools, wrenches, sockets, and a torque wrench. If you do not have a torque wrench many auto parts stores will loan out tools.
