It is a very common misconception that you can directly power your RV and appliances directly with solar power. Solar power is harnessed to charge your battery bank and the battery bank is used to run your RV and appliances.

The first step is to figure out how much power you'll be consuming in a day to ensure you have the correct size battery bank. Once you know how much you're using in a day you'll be able to choose the correct size solar panel system to recharge your battery bank. For example in peak conditions the Go Power Solar Flex Charging System with Digital Solar Controller - 220 Watt Solar Panels is going to require four 12v batteries and is only going to replenish about 67.42ah in a day.

The rule of thumb is that you'll only receive peak conditions for about 6 hours a day but you could see even less than that depending on your location/weather.

I've attached our solar power help articles to offer you some very useful information. If you can determine how much energy you're planning on using and reply back with that number I can find the correct solar panel package for your needs.
