Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement For a 1999 Chevrolet 3500 2WD Dually

Question:

I have a 1999 silverado classic 1 ton dually 2wd with the 454 gas. I am adding a 3500 lb camper on the truck. I know these already come with a very solid supension but wanted to add a set of these. Will they fit this truck? If not, what other option do I have? Thanks

The Timbren Suspension Enhancement Springs, # TGMFK25S, that you referenced will fit your 1999 Chevrolet 3500 2WD dually, but these springs were designed for service vehicles such as tow trucks. Keep in mind, these springs are designed for the front axle, not the rear. It would be better to use Timbren springs on your rear axle when carrying your camper. For your truck, I recommend the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement Springs, # TGMRCK35.

Adding a set of Timbren springs to your truck would be a good idea, especially if you frequently carry your camper or heavy loads. As you said, GM did put a solid factory suspension on their 1 ton models, but giving the OEM suspension some help will make everything last longer. I did some research on your truck and found that the maximum payload capacity is around 4,000 lbs, so in the long run, the Timbren springs will help immensely.

I have attached the installation instructions for you to check out.
